CPR Facts in our community:
- Black or Hispanic adults experiencing cardiac arrest outside a hospital are significantly less likely to receive lifesaving bystander care.
- There are lower rates of bystander CPR in predominantly Black and Hispanic communities, highlighting the need for more CPR training.
- A staggering 90% of cardiac arrests outside of hospitals are fatal, but immediate CPR can double or triple survival chances.
