Earn: Workforce Development and Training
I made some bad choices in my younger days and ended up spending time in prison. When I got out and was ready to turn my life around, it was tough to find anyone willing to give me a second chance.
I found my second chance at the Urban League. First, I completed their Basic Skills Computer Class, where I learned much needed computer skills. I then took part in an internship that they arranged.
Today, I’m thriving in the University of Tennessee Apprenticeship Program, where I’m gaining the skills and knowledge to be a licensed heating and air conditioning technician.
