Development Professionals
We facilitate the process by which individuals identify, prepare
for, attain and maintain employment and
self-sufficiency.
Employment is the key to economic
self-sufficiency. All Americans should have
access to employment opportunities
consistent with their aspirations and skill
levels. Annually, KAUL Workforce Development
Initiatives result in over 400 individuals
trained and/or placed in employment.
KAUL Information and Technology
Center offers computer classes ranging from
Keyboarding to Intro to Computers to the
complete Microsoft Office Suite. KAUL is a
complete resource center providing services
to employers as well as individuals who are
actively involved in the job search process,
seeking a career change or in need of
upgrading technology skills.
KAUL is a resource for professionals
not only does KAUL offer computer classes,
but also technology is utilized throughout
the facility. KAUL has three state-of-the
art computer labs, fully networked to high
speed Internet connectivity for individuals
to search for job opportunities in the
local, regional and national markets. Job
seekers have access to user-friendly
software to prepare professional-quality
resumes, cover letters and other business
correspondence.
KAUL is staffed with professional
Career Counselors who provide individual and
group career counseling assistance with
vocational assessments, job search, job
referrals, placement, post employment
follow-up and employer recruitment.
